El mejor hotel, calidad versus precio, perrisimo! la ubicacion es clave, esta cerca de las zonas mas importantes de la ciudad, el servicio, la limpieza y el diseño estan muy bien, sin duda lo recomiendo, es una excelente opción.
First it is in unsafe part of downtown tijuana. Second no clear parking and had to park in casino parking. Room was ok and sheets were dirty and hair clumps in shower. NOT COVID safe. And finally staff are rude and not professional. Upon request of Hydroflask left there, they first were rude when writing to me, then said they thrown it away, then when I said I will write a review they said they did not find it and did not throw it away. Then became LIARS. Stay away from this place and don’t let their windowless rooms with some paintings fool you.
I have stayed in dozens of hotels in Tijuana, this is my current favorite. Conveniently located in the center of the Centro area, this hotel provides reasonable pricing, with boutique hotel amenities. After staying at other hotels nearby, where you will experience the pounding bass of nearby discos or constant street noise, until the wee hours of the morning, Rio Rita provides a quiet night sleep. All the rooms are set back away from the street, the drawback with this are the windows face-out to the hallway, so don't expect any views. This hotel was recently renovated and is clean and comfortable. Each room is themed with a mural of iconic pop culture figure. I recently stayed in the Bridget Bardo room. The king size bed was very comfortable, a nice size T.V. had a few English-speaking channels. The bathroom was clean and modern. The rain shower head was a nice touch but be aware the hot water took about 5 minutes to get going. Location is key here as it located near some great restaurants and artisanal brewpubs. Top notch Caesars, La Justina and Verde y Crema Restaurants, as well as Insurgente, Border Psycho, Mamut and Norte brewpubs are within walking distance. Entrance to the hotel is always locked and require a room card or to be buzzed in by reception.…
Hi came in for the weekend. When to get food came back due to receptionist calling me accusing of smoking due to the fact they check your room when you leave . Don’t trust there maid service!! False accusations!! They are greedy money hungry people. Then I came back from a night of relaxing in revolución ave. To a room with no cable service. Complained to receptionist had no excuse for cable not working. Bad experience ever!! DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HARRASED by employees!! Last but not least. WiFi no good!!!
PROS: -Very friendly staff offering free coffee and bottles of water. -Excellent wifi connection. -Comfy beds, you can tell the hotel is brand new. -Spacious rooms compared to other in the area (Caesar's and Quinta) -Beautiful balcony where you can have a drink and do people watching; Avenida Revolución in Tijuana is perfect for that. -You have a convenience store (OXXO) just across the street and a minifridge in room. -SUPREMELY well located with lots of great food, bars, coffeeshops and nightclubs all on the very same street as the hotel. Walking along Revolucion is safe and Tijuana goes to bed late, if ever. CONS: -I could hear some construction from my room while I was there, nothing too bad and I didn't mind. -Room with two queen beds feels a bit crowded. There's no desk in the room. -Rooms ARE somewhat dark. -There was a column that partially blocked the view from the TV from one bed. Other info: -There is daily mandatory cleaning of rooms -Hotel is adults-only (absolutely NOTHING is implied, it's just adults-only)…
