We stayed in the Darwin apartment and it has plenty of good things: great space in the flat, light, really wonderful bathroom and shower (you don't want to get out of it!), fairly well furnished kitchen and very comfortable sofa. It is on a main road but the double-glazing keeps out most traffic noise. There's also a nice place to sit outside round the back of the house which is a good suntrap. Less than 10 minute walk from Cambridge station and right by Costa, Sainsbury's and plenty of other eating places. You can walk into the city centre but it is a little bit of a walk (but plenty of buses). The only downsides were more personal than particularly bad: the mattress was overly soft for our tastes and you can definitely hear the people walking about upstairs in the flat above which could be bad if that does bother you.…

I love the apartment. I rented two, both on the ground level . Mine was Darwin if I'm not mistaken, beautiful, bright and airy cos it's in the front of the house. My mum-in-law's was at the inner part of the house so a bit dark, not as nice. I'm not a fussy traveller, as ling as it's clean and things work!! The location was ideal for me as its near my daughter's campus accommodation. I just took a five minute walk everyday to meet up with her. It's also near the Cambridge Leisure which makes it so accessible to eating and leisure activities. The apartment was well equipped and clean, i just have to maintain it. I wish the mattress was firmer but that's just a personal preference. Overall, a pleasant experience. The owner was prompt in addressing certain issues we faced. Thank you Colin for a wonderful home base to experience the quaint n beautiful city of Cambridge.…

Nous sommes restés à Homerton House pour 3 jour(appartement Darwin). L'hébergement était correct, propre et refait à neuf récemment. pas trop bruyant bien que donnant directement sur un carrefour. Il est bien équipé (micro onde, four, grille pain, ...) Juste 2 remarques, Une personne devait dormir dans le Sofa, hors cela était imposible car le matelas est très fin et trop inconfortable avec les barres du lit. l'appartement est un peu humide et assez mal chauffé, le chauffage central était coupé la journée.
