Dear Jennie, We have operated as a B&B only for the last 6 years and normally only open from around Easter until the end of September. This year we are trying to see if we can use our establishment during the winter months as we know running as a B&B would not be viable, so we have set up a room only option that runs from October until a little before Easter at which point we will go back to our normal B&B set up. Unfortunately the main site we use to get bookings does not allow us to have a 2 tiered front page to clearly show the difference in what we are doing. Currently on there system we can only be a B&B or something else and not both. As we are still mainly a B&B so we don't want to change the bulk of the details. We have had long chats with the people from booking. com and have made the best of what they can do, which is set up all new room catergories which have more information in the details about our room only option. Due to the difficultly in clearly advertising the new winter option we do contact all guests that book to make sure they know what they have booked and to give them a chance to cancel free of charge if it is not what they expected. I am pleased to say though that overall it has worked very well and has been seen as a great value alternative to stay in Newquay. All rooms have there own Tea / Coffee making facilities, the Guests kitchen is just an additional amenity.
