We got the coach with a return ticket from the airport to Venice didn’t take long and just walked along the canal to the hotel it is only a short walk about 10 min stroll was lovely

Hi other answers below about the hotel being able to help by booking a private taxi are right. There are other options too. We have tried all but the busses and here is some feedback and important things to think of. IF you are arriving during the day time all the transit options are open to you. At night some of the options can feel a little more complex. Public water bus does not run all night and you are going to need to swap to a Vaporetto from one of the drop off points (I gave detailed info of the bus stop and bus numbers in my review). Inside the airport there are desks that you can use to pre book your water taxi, they will then call one for you and tell you which dock to walk to with your bags to meet it. It’s been a while since we did it but costs were around 110 euros and you prepay at that desk. The land taxi came in around 40 - 45 euros. The public water bus was a little cheaper, but it is sloooooow and turned what could be a 20’ish minute trip into around an hour plus. They also charge you a few euros more if you have more than one case per person. Because of the great location of the hotel our preferred way to there is take a land taxi to P la Roma which is also where the multitude of land busses go to as well. From there a very short walk to the Vaporetto and then it is two stops to Riva de Biasio bus stop or if you are healthy and strong and don’t mind carrying your cases up one the biggest bridges over the canal, just one stop to the train station, Ferrovia. Either way it is a very short walk to the hotel. I am so envious that you are going. Enjoy every moment..... let us know about your trip.

Dear Sara, there is one step only to enter in our House but we have elevator and every part of the building is easily accessible, without steps.

We arrived by train . The rail station is about 100yards / metres from the hotel but on the other side of the canal. We couidnt get a water taxi to take us such a short distance so we had to get a porter to take our bags to the hotel and we followed on foot. If you are arriving by a small boat, water taxi etc there is a small covered entrance at the side of the hotel where a boat can enter and drop you off with your bags and you enter the hotel through a glass door from the " boat port ". I am sure that when you are leaving the hotel staff will arrange a water taxi etc for you. Hope you have a wonderful stay , we did , you have made a good choice.
