It is VERY close, probably a 5 minute walk. The metro is a great way to get you to certain areas of the city provided you don't mind looking at maps and doing your own head work in navigating the city. Uber is also a fantastic option for Lisbon. Super cheap. We used it in the evening when we just felt like being dropped off at the doorstep of our restaurant. (If you do that, call way ahead and make reservations at the restaurant -- the good ones fill up fast with no chance getting in without one).

This is a bed and breakfast, but they will arrange car transport for you to be picked up, in advance of your travel.... We did it and it was very nice....

We stayed in the duplex and there is one flight of steep stairs. It is nonsmoking but just outside the hotel is a park just a few feet away. A great bar just out side the hotel while nonsmoking is full of smokers. Lisbon is very hilly but the area around the hotel is flat. The walk to the central city is about 30 minutes. This is a great place to stay.

Not any parking lot, but on street was plentiful when we were there. I imagine it is much more difficult to find space in summer.
