Adequate at best..... the room is tiny, no room to open your suitcase. No drawers to put away your clothes. Breakfast very skimpy. It is clean. The front desk guy was not to be found when we were locked out of room... no emergency number was left at the front desk

Lovely and new countryside hotel for those with no interest in “roughing it”. There’s a sauna and hot tub (and also a cold plunge if you like that sort of thing.). You can take a short hike up the incline right outside the hotel and get a beautiful view of the surrounding river, hills, and area in general. There’s a ping pong table and “living room” in the shared spaces, and the manager is very nice and accommodating. A good breakfast is part of the stay, with plenty of healthy, yummy, and protein-laden food that’s needed for a day of touring in sourthern Iceland. Food is pricey in Iceland, and so this is a nice way to get started.
