During my stay in Guyana I was told by a friend I should go to Brittany's Hotel. My experience at Brittany's Hotel was Great!!!. Upon arriving to the Hotel I was greeted by the owner Steve. Every morning I was greeted with Breakfast .The Hotel also has two bars one on the the top floor with a beautiful view of Georgetown and on the bottom floor. The hotel consist of a five floor building with 40 rooms my room was a single room with a very nice queen size bed. I was excited to see that the room had its own ac unit and a 32in flat screen TV :-) . The room also had Wifi. The hotel is very close to the main street Sherriff Street and very close to some restaurant and local food stands. Steve and his staff were always very helpful with directions where where I could get transportation. Overall my stay at the hotel was great, I would high recommend going to Brittany's Hotel if you every need a place to stay while in Guyana.…

My Stay

My friends and I planned a trip to Georgetown we were able to stay at Brittanys for a very low price. Surprisingly the service was amazing, will definitely be staying at this hotel again. The owner Steve was very warm and welcoming, felt right at home, anything I needed was attended to. The breakfast was freshly cooked every morning of my stay. The ladies were also very nice The beds were comfortable, I'm a New Yorker so you know I needed my wifi, the water was always nice and warm and also running { lol if you know guyana }.

Steve is awesome. Helps you with anything you need. The only place I will stay when I return to Georgetown.

As an American I usually stay in low budget hostals all over the world. This was a 5 country tour and I wanted to relax a little more in Guyana because I knew I was going to do Kaieteur. Steve greeted me on very short notice. I called him from Port of Spain, Trinidad on a red eye to Georgetown. I had no where to sleep and he set me up in his hotel. He is adding more room so there was construction going on but it never affected my sleep. The place is now 3 stories with 33 rooms. And come to find he used to live 20 minutes from me in near Coral Springs, FL. Steve speaks good English and is super helpful. He made a last minute Kaieteur tour happen when it looked bad because the week days are slow and the flight do not go unless they fill up. Viv cooked me a fresh breakfast every morning including an omelet, bacon, toast, and tea. Good portion. The room was spotless and has an individual air condition unit so I started very comfortable here. WiFi was good in the room and the lobby. Showers were hot and the service was great. Can't say enough good things about this place for $43USD a night which includes breakfast. Steve even changed my US dollars at par (200 Guyana to $1USD) so I wouldn't have to go anywhere. He wasn't set up with a credit card machine yet but takes US or Guyana Dollars. Will definitely be returning here.…

Brittany's Hotel excellent service

Brittany's Hotel has excellent service. You can chat it up with the owner Steve at any time...he really wants to make your stay a memorable one. The rates are competitive. This is a new modern hotel with a staff that wants to please you. They do some excellent guyana dishes like curries and snapper seafoods.
