There is no bar in the Pavillon itself. There are bars in the garden and the Winter Palace. You can wander the gardens, eat at the pool restaurant during the day and eat in the Winter Palace restaurants. For the WP however, there is a dress code and if you wanted a meal in one of the restaurants, it is best to book. The Royal Bar does snacks, but they ARE snacks!

Meals weren’t expensive, say about 20% above neighbouring restaurant prices, I don’t remember the prices. Food quality and taste was much better than other touristy restaurants. Their breakfast is very good, includes continental and freshly cooked local dishes.

The Pavillon was built around 1988 and is lower cost, although, in my opinion, it generally has larger rooms and each has a large balcony Yes, you can use all the facilities of the WP, but note that the WP has a dress code (more at night than daytime) e.g. For gents, Long Trousers for the Royal Bar. The 1886 is Long trousers and jacket, the Corniche, just long trousers. Accors/Sofitel only own one hotel in Egypt (In Taba). The rest are owned by a Government organisation EGOTH. Sofitel only manage the hotels for them.

Pavillon Hotel is just an annex of Winter Palace at lower price but using the same garden, restaurants and swimmingpool. Same Management. Use Accor website.
