酒店的地段很棒，但是房间太小了。你把门关上，门把手都顶到床上了。我没在这吃饭也没使用客房服务。酒店在市中心，很适合观光。

Dear Gareth, we thank you for leaving your opinion about your stay at Holiday Inn Montevideo. His words help us to improve our service. We're glad you enjoyed the great location of our hotel in the center of the tourist and shopping area of the city. Moreover, we regret that you felt your room was small. In that sense, we want to inform you that we are working on remodeling the whole hotel to provide better care in the future. Finally, we invite you to visit us again in the renovated Holiday Inn Montevideo

这里位置非常好，这里周围有好些地方可以参观。在旧城地区，这里和旧城气息非常匹配。看上去很久，需要粉刷和新的家具。房间大小适中，很棒，虽然家具很旧，有一些岁月的痕迹。

Dear Mariana L, Thank you for taking the time to write your review following your recent stay. We take all feedback from our guests seriously. It helps us gauge what we are doing right and what we need to improve on. We are glad to hear you liked our location. However, we regret letting you down on some aspects of your stay. 酒店显然很老,而且从没翻新,房间很小,他们把我带到了前面的电梯,我被要求待在一个安静的房间里……电梯本身太旧,看起来很快就将坏掉……在桌子上或在酒吧 ,员工都不是很热情的提供信息帮助。这真的是一个假日酒店或一个便宜2星级酒店吗?

Dear Guest: Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We take our guest comments very seriously and always strive to provide comfortable and friendly accommodations. I sincerely apologize for the dissatisfaction you had experienced. The feedback we receive from our valued guests, like you, enables us to target problem areas and take the necessary actions to ensure similar situations can be avoided in the future. We appreciate the candid feedback we receive and welcome any opportunity to improve. About the appearance of the rooms and dated accommodations, I´m pleased to inform you that this April we started a series of renovation works that are currently taking place in our property and are destined to improve and refurbish all of our facilities. Proof of this fact is our recently renovated Heated Swimming Pool; I hope you could have enjoyed it. I`d like to bring to your knowledge that the Holiday Inn Montevideo had been renovated before, the last one was in 2011 when we removed the carpeting and put down a floating floor, and we changed the curtains, duvets and the entire room decoration. Regarding the elevators, we have checked with the company in charge of their maintenance to work on fixing these problems, we deeply apologize for the inconveniences caused. On the other hand I want you to know that your feedback will be shared to the appropriate departments and their staff in order to avoid similar experiences as it is our goal to provide excellent service to all our guests and in this matter your opinion is crucial for us to achieve it. Here at Holiday Inn Montevideo we manage a "Guest Recovery Procedure" created to take response to a service failure. Please remember that any problem that you experience during your stay do not hesitate in inform any member of our staff, we are all at your disposal and we will do our best to satisfy your needs and expectations. Once again we apologize for the bad experience and we hope to welcome you back to stay with us again and give us a chance to show you our improvements and can be assured of our very best attention. 本来计划在这里住一晚，结果住了四晚，时间有点长了，因为这家酒店里设施不齐全。会给你券去餐厅吃中饭和晚饭，酒店也供应早餐。餐厅还不错，菜单上有很多种选择，员工也很友好。在顶楼有个游泳池和健身房，但都关了要翻新。房间还可以，但有点小而且设计上有点视觉疲劳。位置很棒，靠近独立广场和主街，但事实上并没有很多的可以做或者看的。

It is pleasing to know that you found our location to be suitable for your needs and the breakfast served was at par with your liking as well as the staff’s attention. 服务太棒了！早餐免费！地段很好，员工独一无二。注意了，你可能会住在一些陈旧的房间，但价格不会因此降低。给个建议：早点去吃早餐，因为会很拥挤，一定要快！

It is pleasing to know that you found staff service and our location to be suitable for your needs and that they were at par with your liking. We have different type of rates and some of the include breakfast and some of them don’t. We are very happy to hear your rate did include it and that you enjoyed our buffet breakfast.
