Room and facilities were fine for this rating category, functional rather than luxurious. But where this hotel really shine for me was the service. They went over the call of duty in ways that were almost extraordinary for me at breakfast . We had come from Macau and I had absentmindedly left my iPhone and iPad charger. I asked a waiter where I could buy these and for some Sheraton’s of nearby places.
I was told the shops weren’t opened yet but the next minute, a lady had come to me and asked if I would like her to arrange for this to be purchased online and to have this delivered. I said I was leaving that morning but she assured me it was possible and basically hurried away whilst we continued to enjoy our breakfast to attend to this, paying for me in advance. Within pretty much just half an hour, she came to my table with the original waiter (whose name I found out ti be Will), beaming, with the purchased charger and leads in a box. I was bowled over by the protectiveness and efficiency, and when I thanked her profusely. She said it was her duty.
