Perfect location next to Confucius Temple and other tourist sites. Super friendly staff and the breakfast was very good. They even had real coffee in the morning which is what us Westerners crave in the morning. The apartment/rooms were excellent and very beautifully appointed. Gives you a true China experience. Highly recommend it for a great experience.

This is a theme hotel dedicated to Confucius, as it is located very conveniently close to Qufu Confucius temple. The hotel is composed of many villas named according to famous families in ancient China. We lived in a two floor house with two bed rooms and two separated wash/shower rooms. The house looks relatively recent built and with all new modern facilities. The speciality of this hotel is its internal decorations. All furniture are traditionally decorated as ancient time. My Swiss friend, who visited China the first time, claimed that he seemed living one night in a museum. Splendid! We also appreciate very much the service provided by room concierge. With her helps, our children experienced the demonstration of process of TUO PIAN, very impressive. A special THANKS to Ms. ZHANG Chun Chun, our concierge. Normally, I hate to mention any particular person's name in these kind of hotel review unless there is some very extraorninary event happened. However, as I understand it is a reality in China and especially concerns to the financial benefits to its employees, I write down the name of the hotel staff. Only two small issues related to this hotel during our trip to Qufu. First, there is no restaurant service in the hotel after 20:00 or something like that. we were hungry and tried to find one around the hotel but all failed. The sanitary status of the city, especially the restaurants, is not ready for foreigners yet, unfortunately. Second, the maintenance of the hotel rooms is like most houses in China, a little bit lack of dedication to details.…
