Spent two nights at Hostal Mirador. The views are great and the owner, Hector is very nice and makes delicious breakfasts (eggs, bread, juice, coffee). The hotel is located just .5 miles from the main market square

Charming home/hostal sitting on the side of a mountain overlooking Otavalo. My second story room with a double bed and private balcony faced the sunset, Imbabura and Cotacachi volcanoes. It’s a short, safe 7-10 minute walk into town. The hostal is gorgeous and very clean. I had hot water and a comfy bed and the kind owner Hector is a gem and very helpful!! Be aware that there are steps and an incline to get there and it is not wheelchair-friendly. Breakfast every morning was simple yet perfect and there was 24 hour access to potable water. I would absolutely stay at Hostal Mirador Otavalo again!

This place offers very clean and spacious bedrooms and a drop dead gorgeous view of the mountains and the town of Otalavo , the host and manager was incredibly gracious kind and hospitable , definitely would stay here again and highly recommend !!!!!
