Riad un poco perdido en la medina de asilah, difícil de localizar y algunos lugareños ni saben que existe. Está al final de una calle sin salida, el cartel no se ve y, si no llega a ser por un lugareño que nos ayudó pegando voces hasta que la propietaria salió por la ventana, no entramos, porque no hay timbre por ningún lado. Por lo visto lleva abierto poco tiempo. Es una casa típica, bonita pero sin nada especial. Tiene dos habitaciones, en la planta baja y en la superior, cada una de ellas dispone de un salón grande que, según dice Yasmine (la propietaria) es a compartir con ella (pero en nuestro caso dispusimos de él a nuestro antojo)...el problema es que el salón de la planta superior deja a la vista el de la planta inferior desde una barandilla (lo cual te hace perder cierta intimidad). La habitación es bastante austera, sólo una pequeña ventana, se cierra con un candado, no tiene mesillas, tan sólo un mueble que no sirve más que para poner cosas encima. Las sábanas estaban un poco sucias y cada una de un juego diferente. Almohadas grandes y altas pero la funda no me inspiraba mucha confianza. El baño, regular. Ducha sin cortina, humedades en la pared, el agua no terminaba de estar caliente. No hay nada para poner la bolsa de aseo salvo un mueble inservible. No hay colgador para las toallas, no hay enchufe para el secador (si hay un secador de viaje en el baño). Todo tan básico, tan básico que a veces una se pregunta si no debería valer bastante menos... Yasmine es agradable y servicial, habla italiano y francés. La noche que estuvimos tuvimos la mala suerte de que le dió por celebrar una cena con amigos en la terraza, cuando llegamos a dormir, a las 23:00 estaban en pleno auge y nos enfadamos un poco, no nos pareció adecuado que, teniendo huéspedes y con las 3 plantas comunicadas entre sí, decidiera hacer algo así. Sin embargo, a las 23:30 terminaron y se hizo el silencio. El desayuno no vale el dineral que te cobra (4€ persona) es más bien algo improvisado por la propietaria, tuvo que salir incluso a comprar leche porque no nos había puesto, no merece la pena pagarlo. En general, creo que aún tiene que hacer muchos cambios y reformas para poder dar cierta calidad/precio.…

Histerical and she spit on me

The owner name is Yasmine and she was 50min late after she said one day earlier she will be in the riad when we arrive between 14 and 15. When she arrived very late her first words were: “you are the first to be on time”. My wife told her is not ok as we waited for 50min and she exploded saying this is her riad not a hotel with a reception (??). She then started insulting us in Italian and said she does not want us there (we did not want either to stay) and we requested on booking com to waive the fees and asked her to accept it on her side. She got even more furios and slamed the door in our face. After my wife knocked (hard) on the door she opened again but she was raging and could not discuss with her. I then decided that it makes no sense to try to get her to accept the waiving of the fees, as we could not talk to her (she was just shouting) and I told her she is crazy and histerical. She then spit on my (my wife was shocked) and in that moment I just ...returned the favor. We left Asilah the next hours with our luggage and went to next city on our list as it was impossible to stay there. I travel quite a lot, but never ever had this type of behavior, she should never be in this type of business in the first place. Other things she did: when I called her on her mobile, she answered in Arabic (she speaks French, maybe English as well) to avoid talking to us. In the discussions she mentioned at a moment she was in a restaurant 5min away eating. She did a review on Google for her own riad saying that she was a customer and it was lovely. Anyways: AVOID THIS RIAD AT ANY COSTS!!!…
