经朋友推荐，我们入住了这家坐落于湖边的度假村，它的地理位置极其优越，同时紧邻着湖畔和古城。我们订了两间房，员工很nice的帮着安排在一起，其中一间还有泳池景，从屋里看出去，湖水与池水辉映，屋中播放着锡兰传统音乐，让人完全舍不得离开。房间的设施也很全，整体保养的很好，完全看不出有几十年的历史。酒店一共只有十多间房，所以十分安静。早餐也是非常丰盛，其余时间餐厅有出品西餐和本地餐食，唯一待提升之处是餐食的品类较少不够丰富，如果能改进的话，我们完全不用考虑出门觅食，可以彻底在此享受假期时光。希望下次来锡兰继续来此度过一段精致惬意的时光。

酒店还可以，但是这里的餐厅非常贵，可能是因为周边没有别的餐厅的原因。EKHO 这个牌子是属于政府的，我个人很不推荐。在bentota 我住了旗下的冲浪酒店，体验更差。

优点：位置很好，房间很漂亮，泳池也很不错。我们看到大象从湖的对岸走到甲板上。缺点：WiFi很糟糕，我们在餐厅吃饭的时候他们漏了一些菜。

当我们到达酒店的时候他们说已经订满了，因为有两个房间出了一些问题以致不能使用。他们把我们转到了他们的“姐妹酒店”去，那里除了有一个漂亮的游泳池外，其他东西都不怎么样（房间小、各种虫子—虽然我知道这在一些地方是非常难管理的、价格昂贵的自助餐—无论是以食物的质量相比，还是与国内其他酒店相比……）

The communication of this hotel is very poor though the location is superb. I can find the number of hotel manager if u want.
We just book through Agoda.
You can WhatsApp or call the hotel staff Udesh directly on +94772736717
He will do the needful and I have informed them personally. You should visit Lion Rock (Sigiriya) though bit away from Echo Lake. Suggest you stay at Heritance Kandalama and visit Sigiriya. Then go to Anuradhapura if you are interested in Buddhist historical places.
Plan your trip so that you could visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage on your way to polonnaruwa.

The hotel is not that big and the rooms are next to eachother. So if you book the same roomtype and request for two rooms next to eachother it should be fine In most cases. We booked a deluxe room which is very nice. There are three deluxe rooms next to eachother I believe but please contact the hotel directly for confirmation. Please note bookings via their website go to the headoffice and the headoffice will inform the hotel. So it would be good to make sure hotel and headoffice are aligned.
