In my travels in China, especially the first level cities like Shanghai and Beijing, you can be bold and haggle on deposits. In at the Central in Shanghai, they asked for something crazy as deposit. (About as much as we had as spending money for the week), which I thought was rude.
I resisted, and they backed down and asked for 1000Y which was much more reasonable. I feel it is a game they play (as do most international hotels), but if they think we will walk, they stop the rigmarole and they are civil.
Hotel dont provide free shuttle bus.
If you don't have many luggages, you take the Maglev Train to the Line 2 subway long yang station, than you take Line 2 subway to East Nanjing road ,
Or you can go by Taxi will charge appx 250 RMB
buongiorno.non so se abbiano una stanza chiusa per depositare i bagagli. in ogni caso io li ho lasciati alla reception, avendo l aereo per Dubai alla sera. riguardo alla navetta hotel aeroporto non saprei rispondere perché ho viaggiato con guida ed autista privato che ci hanno accolto all aeroporto, mi hanno fatto da guida/interprete nei giorni di permanenza e riportati all aeroporto per la partenza. da tenere presente la difficoltà della lingua :pochissimi conoscono lingue straniere .Buon viaggio!
The easiest way is to take a taxi but before ask the hotel to send the name and address in chinese and a map because sometimes taxi drivers do not know how to read chinese. Tell him to put the taximeter when you get in the car and ask the hotel how much is approximately from the airport to the hotel.
