We stayed at Gakona Cabins for three nights. We did the salmon charter on our second day there, which was really fun and interesting. As for the cabins, they were pretty nice. There were two queen size beds and a small kitchen with a table. The beds were pretty firm, yet comfortable, and the cabin was pretty clean. However, the smell of sewers was faintly coming from the bathroom. The cabins are located in the trees, just behind a small gas station that the family runs, offering privacy. The cabins are a few miles from Glennallen, just alongside the Richardson Highway. We had a pretty good experience here, and would recommend the Gakona Cabins to anyone who loves fishing charters.
