Ketchikan B&B
I had the pleasure of staying at Alaska Home Fishing B&B Lodge in May of 2012 - the weather was perfect, as it has been each time I have visited Ketchikan. No rain! Captain Rob and his wife Pamela made me feel quite welcome and my room was very comfortable - it truly exceeded my expectations. The scenery and wildlife viewed from his harbor tour was nothing less than spectacular, I have never seen so many eagles in one place before. The highlight of our cruise around the inlets and seaways of Ketchikan was a visit from a couple of whales who sprayed and swam along with us for awhile. Great memories of that trip! Can't wait to return again this spring for another visit. I can recommend this B&B to anyone - just be sure to ask about the salmon dip you get on the harbor tour and be sure to pet the dog when you arrive. It will feel just like home if you do.…
