This place was awesome, everyone was so helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious and the rooms were very clean and well equipped. Yes I will go back again. Most of all fishing was fun.Great place for family trips.

I have been going to Clover Bay for salmon season the last 3 years and it is THE BEST! Fantastic friendly, accommodating staff that will take care of your every need. No other location can compare to this floating barge in the Prince of Wales Sound. Beautiful area and great fishing plus wonderful staff, good food, nice clean rooms that accommodate up to 4 people. There is a cash bar for those who like a drink at the end of the day, free wifi available if you have to stay connected. Lots of options for fishing - go on your own in a skiff, go guided, or take a charter. Staff always ready to provide tips and make suggestions if you want/need it. I am second generation to go to Clover Bay and a third generation is going this year (and it is second generation that now owns/operates the lodge). We know many people who have been going for years, and other families that have second and third generations that go every year. Hope there is a Clover Bay Lodge around for many years to come! And as long as there is, I will be going every year that I am physically able. I would not call this a budget hotel, however, given the value of what you spend and what you receive, it is certainly more economic than many others in the SE part of the state. You get to Ketchikan and then take a float plane out to the lodge (float plane fare is part of your package so no extra cost), another great experience. All meals are included in the cost. You are provided rain gear, all fishing gear, bait, boats, etc. So you pay for your package and your fishing license and that covers everything. The only extra cost would be the bar if you want alcohol, or if you decide to take a charter. But even the charter rates are very reasonable and well worth the expense.…
