I recently stayed at the Seronera for 3 weeks. The staff are all super friendly and take an interest in your welfare and enjoy having a chat! Some staff struggle with English but not to the extent that it’s a problem.
I stayed in a single room with en-suite. The room was basic but more than adequate for my needs. No air conditioning but there is a motorised fan.
The en-suite was okay. There is hot water - but me being stupid didn’t know how to use it so spent 3 weeks having a cold shower! That is not however the fault of the staff.
My room was cleaned really well daily and towels/sheets were changed regularly. They provide basic toiletries but I did not use these as I had my own.
Breakfast is included in the price.
Overall, I felt safe and comfortable as a lone female traveller - reception is staffed 24/7.
I would definitely recommend for budget travellers!
