Nice new hotel but very poorly designed rooms. VERY dark, minimal lighting, reading lamps did not work, a/c not adequate, motorized blinds broken. Had to move our room because of all this. Bathroom was visually nice but poorly designed, not a hook or anywhere to hang your towel near the shower, no shower cap or other sundries provided. The 'sofa' which is a big reason for getting a 'suite' was like a big brick. It's actually a trundle bed which is great if you need it but if you don't you cannot sit on this thing, no way. The TV isn't even facing it so what's the point ? You're watching tv from bed so ?? Breakfast was terrible. English muffins were stale, turkey sausage were like hockey pucks, no potatoes, no sliced bread for toast, no pastries just bagels. Worst hotel breakfast we've ever had. On the plus side was the staff ! They were lovely, very very helpful and fun. We made the best of a crappy situation because of the staff but we would never stay here again. No where near worth the price.

There were several debacles keeping me from being able to check in Steve, who I think is the assistant manager was very patient, friendly and accommodating. He is definitely an asset to that place. I opted to stay another night and he even delivered my new room keys to me. Marriott is lucky to have managers like that who still care in this day and age.

This is a relatively new hotel in a nice area. The hotel was very nice overall. We could have used more room in the bathroom and the way the shower was set up was frustrating. The door opened in, covering the controls for the shower. So, you had to get in the shower to turn it on and then try to avoid the cold water. The controls should have been installed on the opposite wall. The closet was very roomy and nice. Breakfast was just okay. It was nothing special. The bagels were fresh. There was no orange juice. I would have loved some fresh cut fruit.

Calvin is a breath of fresh air! After a long day and night and not feeling my best I checked in pretty late, Calvins great personality and attitude made my night! Being in Hospitality myself I always appreciate great Customer Service! This Property has never disappointed in that area!

Slept Extremely Poorly for 3 reasons:
1. Room was too hot- thermostat cannot be set below 67 degrees.
2. Fan cycles on and off; it cannot be set to stay on constantly to drown out freeway traffic noise.
3. Bed felt hard; could not get comfortable.
One of the worst nights at a hotel that I have experienced.

Apologies all the way around for you experience with the property and response time for your complaint. Being a new hotel should not have brought you all these issues. Even our system on response time has failed you. If you happen to come back to the area, give us another try, and I believe your expectations shall and will be met.
