If management and staff were competent my only complaint would be a very firm uncomfortable bed. We received notification on May 25th that the pool would be close from the May 22nd - June 3rd. They knew of the renovation for months but chose to wait to inform guests because of a major event going on. Fast forward to June 3rd, and the last at the desk tells my kids there is great news and the pool would be opened up at 4:00pm, which then became 6, and then 7, then 8, and finally it will not be open. Staff and management are incapable of running a hotel.
The hotel is really nice. The rooms are really nice. The beds are really nice. Brittany at the front counter was really nice. So overall, really nice! They seem eager to help when they can. Just 2 suggestions. We needed a porta crib for a toddler and they did not have one on a monday night. The beds in the room sit very high and the risk of her rolling off and getting hurt was a concern. We ended up borrowing one from nearby family. Second, the breakfast is simple and nive but you need a can of Pam spray by the waffle maker. Someone couldn't get their waffle peeled off so they closed it making the waffle burn black. You need the spray to stop this. Bottom line, we would stay here again. We hit nearby casinos and made it to the airport in 10 minutes Oh, the safe is the size of a suitcase and is not bolted down at all. Anyone can simply walk out with it.…
