Theoretically you could and I think we did years ago when we were in our 40s? But it's not a good walk at all and I think would be even worse now as there always seems to be construction around I15. I wouldn' t recommend it at all. However, there is a city bus that stops right across from the Orleans on the Tropicana side. At least there used to be! For several years (once again we were younger) we even took the bus from the airport to the Orleans. It's not too bad, but you do need to change buses and walk a little bit. Then we'd take the city bus down to the intersection by New York New York and then use the bus that goes up and down the strip. We stopped doing that when we were at the bus stop by New York coming home around 11:30 and some guys were about to have a knife fight at the bus stop. We usually drive from Denver any more and have a car. It was great when the Orleans had the shuttle that took you right off the strip. That seems to have gone away post Covid. We went to Vegas and stayed at the Orleans probably 2-3 times a year from 2008-2018 and then stopped for a while, then of course Covid and we've only been there twice, both within the last year. I was sad to be so put off by a place we always enjoyed. But like I said, even the Casino isn't really that fun anymore.

I always enjoyed the little windows in the showers and sometimes we ended up with a side window there that looked out on the Luxor in the distance. But I agree, really not worth it. Last time we were there, we ended up looking at the back of the casino which wasn't great. My sister loves to stay where you look out on the pool and that is nice.

I have had packages delivered to the Orleans before I arrive. They always held them until I arrived. I just had to pick them up from the bel desk. This was last done 2 years ago so I don't know if policies have changed
