Yes I think so, although the road leading into the camp for about 50kms was very rough and slow going. We saw SUVs a few times during our two week trip. We took a day to drive from Swakopmund, with a three hour detour to see the white lady at Brandberg.
Hello,
We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful camp soon. The best way to get a detailed breakdown of all the activities on offer and the rates, would be to ask your travel agent. They will be able to supply you with the full list and timings to see which activities would best suit your stay with us.
Please let us know if you don't come right with this and we will try get the relevant information to you.
Kind regards
Wilderness Safaris
Dear Taffy5239,
Thank you for your question, unfortunately no, there are no hairdryers in camp. This is due to the power supply in camp being limited on inverter system - hairdryers pull on too much power from the grid and would result in shortages in other ares such as the lighting.
We hope this has been helpful and please do no hesitate to contact us again should you need any other information.

Hello Starlandd,
Thank you for your question, it would definitely be possible, however, there are several factors that would need to be considered before we could guarantee this for you. We have worked with Expert Africa for many years and they will be able to confirm this for you further, but a few things you would need to look at is as follows.
This depends on the meal basis that you have booked at Doro Nawas and also where you are heading to after Doro Nawas.
If booked on a DBB basis, the activities are subject to availability on the vehicle on that morning as the FI bookings get preference. The consultant dealing with your booking can make a note for you, so that the camp is aware of the interest
If space is available and it fits in time wise for you, you would then need to pay direct at the camp the morning before this activity.
If however, you are booked on an FI basis this activity is included and your consultant can make a note in your booking that you have requested this activity on the morning of departure.
The nature drive activity in the mornings takes approx. 3-4 hours, depending on sightings, sometimes even longer. And would therefore play a big role in weather or not this will be an option for you. Additionally, please note, that elephant sightings are not guaranteed.
Not sure what time of the year the you are travelling, in winter with the time change the days are short and this will also affect the time you have to travel to your next destination after Doro Nawas.
Hopefully this has been helpful and we hope that we will be able to help you with this wonderful activity before you move on to your next property. We trust Expert Africa will make the necessary arrangements to ensure you have a perfect journey.
Thank you
