Staying for one night, and the employees are trying hard to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was too hard. Got our laundry done and got us a fridge and even some ice - great on a hot day ☺️ Would recommend it to anyone Location is across the road from the cablecar.
Overall experience is very disappointing. Really not suitable for families. The beds are super small and the extra “bed” is just a tiny sofa that can’t even fit a kid comfortably.
When we went for breakfast, they told us that each room could only have 2 people for breakfast even though we paid for 3 people.
Fantastic value for money and your home away from home when visiting Zhangjiajie. Modern amenities, plenty of freebies (including a free self-service laundry and complimentary lobby refreshments, including a fantastically warming ginger tea) and a great breakfast spread make this my favourite hotel of choice here. The location is ace too, being right across the road from the gateway to Tianmen Mountain, with plenty of good local eateries (and a McDonald's) around, and less than 15 minutes away from the high speed rail station.
Bonus points for the fantastically friendly staff, who offer great advice on how to visit the very scattered national park area, and even offer to help us with local food deliveries. Shoutout to Yang Ju and Xia Keren for their hospitality during our short stay.
This hotel is located in Zhangjjajie itself and it is close to the high speed train station (20 yuan) and airport. We had stayed 4 nights at Pullman Wulingyuan (check review on that). There are restaurants and a few shops plus small convenience store within 100 meters. However a 6 yuan taxi to Bright Mall/ shopping pedestrian street, etc. also close to 72, a man made tourist attraction to be visited in the night. It’s 17 yuan taxi fare there. ZJJ is 110 yuan to Wulingyuan. The deluxe room we had was very spacious, it’s furniture well placed giving you a feel of even more space! This is my first stay at a Hampton and I like it. It has a bright and sunny reception area. They also honoured the Hilton Honors program by extending our checkout time to 3 pm. Pullman offered us till 5pm and free happy hours- pity we couldn’t accept that as we wanted a different feel for our trip. Highly recommended. Money saving tip, quite a few travel agent gives discount tickets if you buy ZJJ and Tianmen together, not individually. We’ll worth it. In China on the whole, download an English Chinese translator. That will help you a lot.

Beautiful hotel opposite the Tianmen Mountain Cable car station. Centrally located amongst many restaurants. Nice rooms, working air conditioner, washing machines for customers' use. Good choice of food at breakfast, not crowded. Highly recommended.
