Such a pleasant surprise! The hotel is immaculate. The room is spotless. No carpet! The mattress has a full, hypoallergenic enclosure, which is rarely found in hotels. The front desk clerk, Jacqueline, was fabulous. She called us in our room to make sure everything was fine. She called to tell us our Door Dash delivery person was on the way to our room. A+ employee. A+ hotel.
I love the room and the service I received. The room was extra clean.Had tile instead of carpet, which is a plus for me. Tile is much cleaner than carpet. The room had two queen size beds, refrigerator, tv (Espn, HBO and all local channels)plenty of storage. They had an iron, hair dryer, Shampoo, Conditioner, liquid soap, lotion, plenty if clean towels and wash clothes. The bathroom was nice and clean. There were plenty of room in the bathroom. The room had a desk/table and chair. They had internet, 24 hour gym and pool. They had a microwave in the lobby and serve coffee 24/7. It had pop machines and snack machines. It also had a laundry room. They have a Grab-to-Go Breakfast. It has High Speed WIFI and it has free parking including tractor trailers, rv's and busses. Avid had a Market and pets are allowed. PC available in business center and printing. The rooms have IPod Docking Stations and AM/FM Alarm Clock. I loved and enjoyed my stay and hopefully will be staying there in the future. I would highly recommend staying at Avid Hotel in Staunton, Virginia.…
Great service. Great breakfast. Free wifi and TV. Large rooms fitness room is very nice has a pool free parking. Friendly employees. Very clean and offer about anything you need to make you feel at home.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Everything is nice clean and comfortable. This is my favorite hotel in the area. We will be staying at this location every visit we make to the staunton va area.
I have been a member of the IHG frequent traveler program for a very long time. I’ve been platinum for a good long time, too. When I saw that there was a new hotel group, I quickly booked a room using my points. The good was that my two nights were on points. The bad, was that I was missing the amenities that I usually receive by being an IHG member. No welcome packet. The room was very small, and just missing basic stuff like a pen and pad. Not sure what direction this chain is going. The bed was comfortable, pillows awesome. Breakfast was acceptable. If I was a business traveler, I would stick to my Holiday Inn Express.
