It was clean and comfortable. We checked in and got our room key. We explored the town and then went to bed to get rested for a bike ride the next day. At 9:30pm, someone kept knocking at our door. We finally answered and the manager advised us we would have to move to another room. In the frenzy I lost my phone. It took 30 minutes to find and I hardly slept before the 38 mile bike ride the next day. I don't recommend this place.

"Somehow" when booking directly through their site and selected our date we would like to stay. We show up and find out the reservation was for the night we booked.
Owner refused to issue a refund. Don't book through crappy tiny town websites and don't stay here.
This situation is infuriating because even if we booked a room for the same day we booked, it was nearly midnight PST. We live in Hawaii and booked late in the evening and we are three hours behind.

We stayed here before and after going to Victoria Island on the ferry. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome. This is a small-town hotel, with lots of quirks that made it feel warm and cozy, like local art on the walls, maps to locate your hometown, and fun sinks outside of the bathroom for multiple people to get ready. After coming home late on the ferry, the manager even grabbed our bags and carried them up the stairs for us. Breakfast was simple but had lots of options hot and cold. Would definitely return.

Great place for great price! Very nice people running the hotel. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food. Staff was very attentive and the rooms were very clean. They had cookies at the front that my husband helped himself to very often. Nice location in town.

Shady front desk clerk was rude and nasty. We paid for two days but arrived late. She refused to let us stay there on our second night, even though it was already paid for! We left and stayed elsewhere because I wouldn’t give them any more money. I’m reporting them for fraud.
