我们在最后时刻才预订的酒店。我们预订这家是有几个理由的 -- 这里可以让宠物进入酒店，而且穿过接到就是沙滩，不会走错路。而且我是Pizza Port Brewing这家店的超级粉丝，这家店就位于酒店右边的街角上。我们的要了一个有两张大床，带庭院的房间，而且面朝沙滩。员工很友好，甚至在我办入住手续的时候给了我的狗狗一个见面礼。在我查了这里居住区的一些评价之后，我感到一点点的焦虑。但是当我们到了这里之后，我们感觉很安全。这里就跟其他带沙滩的地方一样。这里游客会看到沙滩上到处都有一些流浪者。我们在半夜12:30的时候在码头上面散步，完全不会感觉到担心害怕。这里附近有许多很棒的餐厅，只需步行便能到达（非常近）。下次来的话我绝对会来这里住。这里的居民区感觉也非常棒。

在圣地亚哥玩得很开心，房间很舒适，很可爱。从城镇搭乘的士大约半小时就到酒店了，海洋沙滩酒店不是一家4星级酒店，但因其沙滩的地理位置很值得一游啊。

我的妻子和我在2015年10月25号星期天的时候在Ocean Beach Hotel住了一晚上。我的妻子已经通过代理预付了房费。当我们到达去登记入住，我的妻子发现她把她的驾驶证忘在家中。因为她没有身份证明，我们不被容许登记入住房间。然后我用了我的身份证让我们登记入住到一个不同的房间。这家酒店收取了两个房间的费用。Ocean Beach Hotel拒绝退还另一个房间的费用。这是不对的，并且扣留这个钱是明显不诚实的。对我最坏的敌人我都不会推荐这家酒店。

I'm very sorry to hear that this experience was so frustrating for you and your wife, David, but I would like to shed a little more light on this situation in the hopes that you understand we take honesty and trust very seriously here at the OB Hotel, which is why we have certain identification procedures in place to assure proper check-in. I'd like to lead off by saying that we have contacted the 3rd party agency that your wife booked with and, once they are able to get a hold of her to confirm the cancellation, the money for the double booking will be refunded immediately. When reservations are made through 3rd party travel booking websites as your wife's reservation was, the guest must arrive with picture ID or some form of identification that matches the name on the reservation for obvious security and ID confirmation reasons. When problems arise with these reservations such as a lost wallet, most 3rd party websites will refund the money but they need to speak with the guest that booked to do that - which you were informed of onsite, however, when your wife called, she became frustrated with the 3rd party hold time and decided to book another room directly through us stating that she would take care of calling the 3rd party later to resolve/cancel. Our front desk agent was happy to upgrade you to a balcony room for free because of the frustration as we wanted your vacation to be relaxing. Since we did not hear from the booking agency (they call us to confirm cancellation) we took it upon ourselves to call them and explain the situation and they said they would refund but, again, to cancel and refund the money they must speak with your wife first for their own security and ID confirmation purposes. I wish there was an easier way for us to resolve the situation onsite without you having to wait to speak with a representative from the booking engine you used, but these are the policies in place to assure proper reservations. I apologize for the hassle, David, and hope that you understand our security policies and that you give us another chance in the future to make sure you have an excellent beachfront vacation.

酒店很不错，中间有个漂亮的花园。工作人员很友好而且乐于助人(也许除了一位似乎在上班路上已经丢了笑容的女士)。没有早餐，但是我们自己买了食物放在房间的冰箱里。房间很安静。就在酒店前面的海滩看上去有点脏，而且有一群无家可归的人呆在那里。不过步行两分钟你就会找到一片漂亮的海滩。

The room next to us on the third floor ( sea view) had 2 beds just no balcony
We did not have any pets with us, however, I recall reading that 2 pets of any size were allowed at no additional costs.
No they don't have specific beach towels. I would definitely bring your own or buy one at one of the shops.
