Perfectly located right next to Skogafoss waterfall !
We felt it was a bit pricey for the dates we booked. Room was decent , small , breakfast was good, it would be good if the front desk staff can be a bit more friendly.
There was a bit of a stink in the washroom , but later we realised it was due to the natural hot water had some natural chemicals causing the smell
The hotel is quite close to a beautiful waterfall which provides the opportunity to explore before or after the crowd of tourists have all left.
The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The room was of medium size and very comfortable. We used the attached restaurant and were very happy with the service and the food quality.
Overall a good experience and we would stay there again if ever in that area.
Clairement le plus mauvais rapport qualité prix de notre séjour. Il ne restait rien à vik, nous avons donc atteri ici en face de la chute de skogafoss (magnifique). Pour le reste , le prix de la chambre est exorbitant (450€) pour une chambre basique dans son jus. Moquette au sol...et une salle de bain énorme mais vide avec un pauvre rideau de douche et des tasseaux pour former le bac de douche.... nous avons quand même eu un lit double ce n'est pas forcément le cas dans tous les hôtels. Le petit déjeuner buffet est ce qui se rapproche le plus de nos standards d'hôtel et est plus fourni que ceux qu'on a pu avoir les autres jours. Mentiok spécial pour le carrot cake. Personnel gentil. Mais ça ne compense pas le prix hallucinant qui correspond chez nous à des hôtels 4/5 *.
We stayed here one night as part of our 2 weeks Ring Rd trip. We like the location a lot. Within a few minutes of walking to Skogafoss. The room was clean and nice. However, the bathroom setup was strange. It was big but lacking shelves. The breakfast was decent. We also had dinner at the onsite restaurant. The food and service were good.
