Traveller Hostel Chanthaburi (尖竹汶) - 0条旅客点评与比价

There are several hostels in the area, and others look more fancy from the outside, but this place has plenty of charm once you get inside. There are only a four rooms, and we stayed in the shared dorm. It was really clean and the bedsheets smelled amazingly fresh. Beds were really comfy, and in the social area, there's free water, tea and coffee. Shared bathroom was clean, and came with shower gel, shampoos and conditioners. But what really made our stay memorable was our funny host Peter. His English is amazing, and as he used to work as a tour guide in Bangkok he is very knowledgeable about Thai culture and is amazing at answering any questions. He even took us on a private guided tour of the city and we visited stunning waterfalls where you could swim with black fish (crazy fun experience), we visited a temple and he translated the inscriptions and stoires on the wall, we visited monkey mountain and got close to the wildlife, he also took us to a fishing village for lunch and then we went to the beach to see the sunset. He's also an excellent photographer and he took some priceless photos for us throughout the day. He gave us excellent food recommendations, and wrote down on bits of paper the Thai names of dishes to try at the nearby night food market. All these extra attentions to detail made our trip more enjoyable. So while there are bigger hostels in the area, Peter was able to offer all his time and attention to make sure we experienced the best of the city, and it felt we visited the city with a friend as oppose to feeling like strangers. …
