Hello. I am a “young man” of 59. My first job in the field, I was 13: bringing full bottles up from the cellar, carrying down empty bottles of all sorts at my aunt’s restaurant here in CH-Fribourg. PET hadn’t been invented yet. My salary: a Soda after work, nothing before or during working hours. But she was a nice Lady, really!
Always been in restaurant/pub/café/bar activities but also : self-taught musician/composer (on jamendo.com – search for: thelinks, if you care to) ,written/oral/live translator and have done everything in a restaurant from cleaning WC to Management. And proud of it,too, from bottom up and I think that helps me be a good, human manager with a heart-felt approach to my customers.
