I am a free-spirited traveller. When I travel, I usually have established travel dates and an ultimate travel destination, but the rest of the details are generally more relaxed. I prefer to go with the flow, rather than having dates and even times for activities all mapped out before I leave. There's nothing wrong with planning; it's just not my style.
If I come across something unplanned that spikes my interest, I always feel free to accomodate the new-found discovery. And if something I had been planning on seeing doesn't prove as interesting as originally thought, that's okay too.
I find that this style of travel suits me the best. I spend my vacation leisurely and come home relaxed. If I don't get to "see it all" the first time, I know that's just another reason to come back and visit again.
