Thank you for taking the time to complete our Best Western Guest Survey and for your Trip Advisor Review. On behalf of our owners, Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation and the entire Best Western Tin Wis Resort team, I would like to apologize for falling short of your expectations.
Guest satisfaction is important to us and your feedback, while disappointing, to hear is invaluable in showing us were we can improve. We do publish our Check-In time as after 4pm, including with our online travel partners like the one you booked with. We do try to accommodate early check-in requests, however in summer season when we always run full occupancy, sometimes that becomes difficult. I am sorry for any miscommunication on our part,
We completed full guest room renovation in 2012 with new flooring, bathroom vanities, draperies and furnishings. Since then we have added new TV's, microwaves, Kuerig coffee makers and last year new beds to all guest rooms. Closet doors, in-room guest safes and tower fans are being added to a rooms this summer with full room renovation and refurbishment planning underway for Jan/Feb 2018.
Since the average daily high in the months of June through Sept is below and 70 degrees and average lows always bellow 60, we have made the decision to not put in air conditioning. While we don't enjoy those toasty warm days like you in the Fraser Valley, we also didn't have to worry last winter about shoveling any snow.
Once again, thanks again for your feedback.
Thank you Michele for choosing Best Western Tin Wis for your stay in Tofino and hope you enjoyed the rest of your time on your Vancouver Island Road Trip.
Thank you Bruce for your review and yes we have been known to get the odd sprinkle or two in Tofino. We that have to live here year round, learn to put it all into perspective though. After all, we had near the least, if not the least snowfall this past winter of any town in Canada!
