Thank You for your recent review of The Stratford Hotel.
I am sorry for the issues you experienced during your stay with us, in particular during Breakfast and Dinner service. We do strive to provide a high level of service to all of our guests and since you stay with us, I have spoken to our Head Chef who has made additions to our kitchen team to improve the service we offer our guests.
In terms of the car parking charge, many other Hotels in the area may not charge specifically for car parking, however will certainly account for this cost within the price they charge for the accommodation.
We instead decide to be up-front about the charge, as many guests do not drive to our hotel but instead arrive as part of a travel group, or by public transport. As a result, we don’t feel that incorporating a car parking charge within the accommodation rate is fair on the guests who stay with us when they don’t require the facility to park a vehicle.
