We are surprised when you make the statement “only one professional dancer over 4 on the stage dancing” . Our standards require always a high level of accomplishment and commitment. And although we believe in having young artists, we always have dancers that reach the flamenco quality that our reputation demands. As manager of this family business founded 30 years ago by my mother, I take very seriously the level and type of flamenco that we offer in Tablao de Carmen. We believe that Flamenco is a unique world and culture of people. It was never originally” a profession as such” neither a way to make a living, but a way of expression of many different people and places of Spain. Therefore, pretending to professionalize flamenco might be a way of killing its purpose and essence. And so, here, we do not look for professionalism but rather authenticity and commitment. We are interested in finding out from you who were the artists on that evening that you do not consider professionals and which one of them you mentioned as professional. For this, we would need to know which date you came and under which name you booked your dinner.

Again, we take your comment about the food as constructive and we will try to improve the choice of tapas.
