Respect to the incident with the taxi, it is important for us to explain that we actually did book your taxi, the problem is that when a cruise boat starts from Barcelona, the whole city is collapsed because almost all the taxis of the city go to the piers. So in you case, and because the taxi we booked for you was not arriving, we actually call the taxi company in order to know how many time it will take, and after telling us that it will take long time to come, we told you that it was better for you try to get a taxi in the street than wait for the one we booked. I am sure you will understand that we are not responsible for any traffic incident in Barcelona.
Otherwise, if your comment about rudeness and unhelpful staff on the morning is based on this incident, you should know that we could not do much more than we actually did: contact with taxi company in order to check how many time you had to wait, and then give you the best (and only) solution in that moment, which was try to get a taxi in the street. We actually work with different taxi companies in Barcelona, and we book the taxis as a favor to our guest, but obviously we cannot be responsible either for possible fails from them.
Anyway, I am really sorry if this incident affected your whole stay in our hotel, so I hope my explanation helped you. And and it is also our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.
