Hello, we asked you to inform us about your arrival time and tried to contact you by phone (for days!), by email and through booking.com's customer service but with no success at all. Nowadays it is not suggested to travel without a working phone (eg. in case you're in danger). However we've been waiting for you for more than 3 hours before leaving, and you've been waiting for no more than 5 minutes. Please note that it is clearly written on booking.com's public page that "late checkin comes at a surcharge" and "it is mandatory to inform the property about your arrival time, otherwise you'll have to wait". We kindly asked you to keep the windows (particularly the shutters), closed particularly during the night or in case of bad weather at the time of your arrival, but perhaps you forgot. It is dangerous to leave the shutters open because in case of strong wind they could slam, damage and fall. That's the reason why "stormed in and snapped something about the windows", we hope you'll understand now.
