I am truly sorry to learn from your review that there were aspects of your stay that you were dissatisfied with and please let me explain my sincere apologies for any inconveniences occurred.
Smoking is indeed still a controversial issue here in Austria and we would like to mention that there are actually still guests who find this desirable or prefer it in a bar but understand that this was unpleasant to you. Please be informed the Bristol Bar – which was the only smoking place in the entire hotel – will be also be smoking free from the beginning of November.

Please be assured that we always endeavor our utmost to provide a room upgrade to our loyal members like you upon availability and we are sorry that we were not able to do so due to the high occupancy during the dates of your stay.
