Hi Jerrimy, you were required to pay a bond because you paid with an EFT card, no credit card was provided. Any Motel you stay at requires a bond when paying with an EFT card. Our rooms are cleaned to a very high standard, your claim that the room was dirty is completely false and I knew you would put a review up and lie. I’m afraid you are being very vindictive because you were asked on numerous times to stop smoking outside the room, and to smoke in the designated area, but you chose to be ignorant and ignore our rules. As a result, the room smelt of tobacco which resulted in us having to take the room off line for a night so it could be aired out. We also had to take down the curtains, which were new and have them laundered. We had several complaints from other people staying with us, one sent a text to me advising that they had to ask your partner at 2:45am to stop smoking outside their open window. You had no regard for anyone else. I had never at any time been rude or unpleasant towards you or your partner, your claim that I was, is completely false. Your bond was not returned because of the cost we incurred due to you and your partner’s insistence to smoke outside the room with the window open.
