I apologize for the miscommunication of the timing for check-out - you should have been told 11:00am as this is our confirmed checkout time for non-members and for Marriott Bonvoy members a complimentary 2pm for Gold and 4pm for Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador level guests. I regret your room was not ready after our 3pm check-in time and will use your feedback to reinforce with the team on this point. Going the extra mile is a wonderful phrase that quickly illustrates in words the focus and core values we have here in the Hotel. Thank you for sharing your stay experience and the lovely compliments about the hotel and facilities we have here. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you and those reading this some of the many highlights for visitors to the area. Just across the road from us in District Docklands is where the latest UniQlo and HM stores along with many other brands and eateries exist for you to choose from. There is also the Archie Bros "fun centre" and from bowling these last week (just broke 100!) and sharing the fun arcade activities I can testify to a really enjoyable time out. If ice skating and dining are also on the list then these are just a 5 mins stroll down the street to the home of ice skating in Australia. And the Melbourne Star is one of the best attractions down here and provides a great way to orientate new visitors to Melbourne with views to the Able Tasman, Port Phillip Bay and west to the low lying You Yangs granite range. I hope when you visit us again the opportunity to try some of these is there or please just pop by Concierge where my colleagues can provide further advice on things to do in and around the Docklands area.

I would like to apologise for attention to detail when my Housekeeping team serviced your room, As a Loyal Marriott Bonvoy member staying on points your room was upgraded to a Studio room looking over the Harbour and City. All our Studio rooms are on corner so our guest can enjoy panoramic view of the Ocean and the city. As a teachable moment, I have shared your feedback with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure necessary guidelines are in place to prevent this from occurring in the future.
