While I am pleased to hear that you found your bed to be comfortable, your room to be a good size, and that you made the most of our central location in relation to all that Melbourne has to offer; it is disappointing that we were not able to reach your expectations in all areas on this occasion.
Cleanliness is an area that we pride ourselves on so it is unfortunate to hear that you felt let down in this regard. Please rest assured that your feedback has been highlighted with the housekeeping supervisor as the instance you described is certainly not up to the standard that we expect.
I would also like to take this opportunity to apologies for issues experienced with your key card. The magnetic nature of the cards means that they can be temperamental on occasion, although we are working towards ensuring that any such issues are kept to a minimum in the future.
While we offer a continental buffet breakfast for the convenience of guests, we understand that it may not be to everyone’s taste; and as you say we are lucky to have a variety of cafes and eateries within a stone’s throw of our hotel. As such we offer rates both inclusive and non-inclusive of breakfast to more closely cater to guest preference.
