We are not sure of the age of the other motels or this motel to be certain. However we try our hardest to keep it at a High Standard.
I'm not sure when you stayed with us, but we have just repainted the entire exterior of the motel at the end of 2014 and we have just re landscaped the front of the property giving it a fresh new look. We have only taken the business over 11 months ago and we are striving to improve the condition and standard of the Motel thus the improvements being undertaken.
We are sorry you felt the pillows were uncomfortable, as 6 months ago every room received a set of new pillows. (40 new pillows were replaced and the remaining were inspected and treated by our contractor ' The Pillow Doctor' as you would be able to understand it is difficult as we all have very different tastes and comforts and it is hard to meet each individual personal likes.
In regards to the Hot/cold shower, i will look into this and ask our licensed plumber as this is the first we have heard about it reading your comments.

where's the plates ??
In the unit we have a notice on the cupboard door that reads the following -
"Cutlery & Crockery are available at reception at no charge. Please dial 620 or come to reception. We do have Microwaves & Toasters in all the rooms, primarily for the ‘Continental breakfast’ and ‘Quick Easy Menu’ provided by the Motel. We do not have Cutlery & Crockery in the rooms because we don’t have kitchenettes, but we are still happy to provide this service upon request"
We have complimentary condiments such as Tea, Coffee, Sugars, Biscuits in the rooms and fresh milk provided on arrival. I'm not sure what other condiments you require? We are more than happy to provide anything extra you may need should you have asked.
In regards to the saggy bed, we were unaware this was an issue, because we have Comfort of Bed review forms in our rooms and nobody in the past has raised the issue on the form or verbally to us in reception? TripAdvisor is the first to inform us as per your review. We can now investigate if this is a problem and rectify it.
