Our housekeeping staff do check appliances prior to the arrival of guests, however maybe in this instance it was overlooked. We have found that sometimes the settings are incorrect on the air-con which prevents the system from working correctly. I am hoping that you informed our staff on departure / during your stay to allow the issue to be resolved. I do apologise for this inconvenience, once again, thank-you for advising this.
