Sorry that you had a 3 star experience at the Palomar. It's disappointing since we strive for so much more than a 3 star experience. We do have a business center that is just off the lobby, however does not have faxing capabilities. We have reminded our front service staff to be sure to include a confirmation page with a fax request. Sorry that yours did not make it to its target. I share your annoyance when staff members don't wear a nametag and they all have them..but sometimes obscured by a jacket. Nevertheless, we have reiterated the need and will inspect for compliance daily. I know that our rooms are enormous and we do have sofas in rooms that can accommodate them, but always a task chair and a lounge chair at the minimum.
