We are quite surprised to read such comments, or better said “personal opinions”.
FYI, our hotel is not categorized as a 5 star hotel, and we consider our team of some 200 staff not only dedicated, but furthermore certainly neither naughty, nor racist – as you mention. I have worked here for more than 14 months and never have experienced, nor witnessed, nor seen any activity which would even give the slightest idea of racism.
We are sorry to learn about your thoughts, and can only underline that such ( thoughts ) do not resemble nor stand for our business and service philosophy.
We do not offer seating's at any of our outlets, so as to avoid preferences to certain guest groups. Vice versa, we work with a first come, first serve philosophy, which has been proven to be successful over the past 2 years.
The guest rooms, which you describe to be Ok, are by fact one of the largest within entire DAR, in particular the bath rooms.
We envisaged a flow problem in the vertical pipe which connects and feeds the rooms 307 and 309, and, as I can record, this had been sorted within 40 minutes, by our in house plumber. There had been an issue with one of our sump pumps.
Our buffet and all of our buffet items are prepared fresh, and there is no spoilt fruit salad and no old buns. A buffet price of USD 25 pp is not not pricey, for what we offer. If such is too high, order less pricey a la crate items at any location of our hotel – even in the buffet restaurant, and this 24/7. With regards to not having any variety, we assume that you refer to vegetarian Indian dishes, and alike. With regards to this, you please have to understand that we cater to an international society. On the other side, we are more than happy to prepare customized orders, considering your food habits and food customs – if pre-ordered. And, trust us, we can prepare the most stunning vegetarian dishes within DAR !
What is really surprising to us, is that, besides of the water flow issue, nothing of the above has been reported to us whilst you stayed at the hotel. We do have duty managers on call, plus are proud to have a strong and experienced management team in any department of the hotel. We are confident and certain that all of the above could have clarified and solved immediately !
