Thank you for recognizing the quality of OUR Freshly Prepared Seafood. Negombo is the number one location in Sri Lanka with the biggest fishing harbor supplying to most areas of Sri Lanka. This gives us the perfect opportunity to offer OUR customers fresh seafood everyday straight from the ocean.

Yes you are correct. When the service team walk through the restaurant with the Jumbo King Size Prawns a signature dish that we are very proud of – all customers heads turn and ask what is this ?! Three Jumbo Prawns beautifully cooked and presented and yes I challenge any customer to find bigger !! Size does matter at Lords …. Each prawn is around 500 grams ½ kilo in size. We believe in sustainable tourism. We therefore for several years work with a local supplier and hatch the prawn eggs in a hatchery in Negombo. Once a certain size which will allow the baby prawn to survive we release back to the natural lagoon waters and then pay the fisherman to harvest and catch once a certain weight and sell them back to us. Our Policy is to always put something back to nature and not just take from it !!

In very busy times as all our dishes are freshly prepared it can take a little time to provide quality food especially the Seafood platter dishes and we ask OUR customers to relax and enjoy the entertainment, wander around the art galleries or sit at OUR unique Fish Foot Spa. Or in your case sit back, relax and enjoy one of our wonderful cocktails !!
