Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is very much appreciated. I'm happy that our rooms are clean and comfortable. They are somewhat small, as the hotel was built in 1939 when we had no televisions or internet so the socializing of that era took place in our large public areas of the hotel. Thank you also for the great comments on the food and service here at the Baranof. We are constantly updating the hotel. we just finished a remodel of our guest rooms and restaurant. We have designs for a new lobby and we are hoping to get this cone sometime in the next several months, should business allow.
