Subject: Your stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Banning-Beaumont
Dear Shelly Shaffer:
I am sorry that the corridors on your floor were so cold.
To address the issue of the storage units in the back parking lot, Yes we have been undergoing some renovations in order to update our guest rooms. However, those storage's all had locks on them up until they were picked up this week so I can't explain as to why you would have seen any of those doors open at all anytime during your stay but if they were I do apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you.
The trucks parked out on the street are regular weekly guests here for the past few years at the hotel and in order to not have them occupying the majority of our lot parking they agree to park them out there or across the street in order to accommodate other guests. The hotel has no say in who or what parks out on that street as it is not part of the hotels property. We have made mention of the homeless issue in this area several times to the city but there is only so much we can do. Again, our apologies for the inconvenience to you.

While we do have a 48 hour cancel policy in place with Hilton we also try to have understanding when our guests have an issue arise and can't keep their reservation with us. When looking into your issue I can see that the hotel did not charge you or the third party agent for this reservation. In order to receive any refund at this time you would need to contact the third party agent as you have paid them directly. If I can be of any other assistance to you please let me know.
