We are sorry to hear you were somewhat disappointed with your stay with us at the Little Sur Inn. It is our intent to make everything as perfect as possible for our guests. Cambria is a small coastal town that most people find to be quite charming. Unfortunately, we have no control over the weather or the magnificence of the nightly sunsets - we leave that job to Mother Nature. There are two restaurants on Moonstone Beach Drive, and one is right next door to our property. In town, which is less than a mile away, there are several restaurant choices. Our front desk staff all have unique and different personalities, and all strive to make our guests feel welcome during their stay. Being a small inn, the front desk is not open 24 hours. However, as you were told during check-in, we do have a night manager available after 9:00 pm. As per our hotel listing, we offer a "continental” breakfast daily consisting of various fresh pastries, breads, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, hard boiled eggs as well as coffee and tea. In addition, we do not have, nor do we advertise, to have a bar/restaurant associated with our inn. I would suggest that in the future, you research your hotel choice in advance to see what they offer instead of trashing the hotel for not having something they never claimed to provide.
