We carry out regular competitor checks with the hotels in the area to ensure we are in line. On a positive note I am delighted you found the hotel clean and the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay with us on the way to the Euro Tunnel, I am happy to hear you enjoyed our reception and bar areas, many of our guests comment on the bright spacious feel as you enter the hotel. I was however sorry to hear we didn't recognise your Marriott Rewards Gold Status on your arrival and I apologise, regarding breakfast I have shared your feedback with our Executive Chef regarding our bread offering on that morning as we do normally have a good selection of freshly baked breads.

As we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable hotel experience during your travels, we have unfortunately slightly fallen short of our goal during your recent stay. Please accept our sincere apology for the perceived lack of upkeep in regards to the standard of our room. I have shared your feedback with the appropriate hotel team to ensure that this was an isolated issue that is corrected moving forward.
In respect to the Executive Lounge, the hotel does not offer nor advertise this facility and I am sorry that our only recently joined colleague was not in the position to answer your question. Furthermore it appears that the alleged overcharge was only a refundable deposit that we take over and above the rate to guarantee any extras that might be incurred during your stay. Our apologies for the misunderstanding.
