Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay at our hotel and we are so sorry you had a run-in with palmetto bugs. As many folks in the Coastal Georgia area can attest, there is nothing worse than one of those insects catching you by surprise.
Believe me, our hotel staff takes tremendous pains and does everything they can to eliminate palmetto bugs from the property. In addition to our regular monthly treatments, during the active, humid months of the summer, we do additional bi-weekly applications to minimize the issue. In addition, our maintenance staff spreads granules around the public areas that eliminate the pests on contact. Despite our herculean efforts, every now and again our formidable defenses are breached. We apologize for any inconvenience or discomfort this may have caused you.

In order to continue the Marriott tradition of providing stylish and up-to-date accommodations, we are in the process of renovating our rooms and public areas. This does create a bit more dust than we are accustomed to and we hope it didn't interfere too much with your stay. And though the boiler was an unforeseen issue during a particularly busy weekend, we are happy to report the new boiler is keeping everyone warm each morning.

You are absolutely correct that we do not charge the same price each day for each room. We offer discounted rates to our corporate partners and frequent travelers that say with us regularly or for weeks at a time. We often offer group or conference rates for large parties, family reunions or educational conferences. And the rate can also change due to factors such as market demand, time of the year or even day of the week.
